Rebecca Denneny is a pastel and oil painter living in West Chester Pennsylvania. She paints a variety of subjects including landscape, figures, and interiors. Rebecca enjoys painting from life as often as possible and believes that it is easier to understand your subject through direct experience. She often paints the landscape in the Chester County region, and through careful observation she strives to capture the effects of light and atmosphere on her subjects.

She participates in juried art shows nationally and internationally and has won numerous awards. She has exhibited at the American Impressionist Society, Salmagundi Club, International Association of Pastel Societies, Philadelphia Watercolor Society, Maryland Pastel Society and more.
